Die By Night
Fangoria reports Isabelle Fuhrman, Ben Hardy and Scoot McNairy are attached to star in Die By Night, a supernatural “survival thriller” from director Rod Blackhurt. Set “in a post-apocalyptic world where long stretches of ‘Night’ plunge the world into chaos,” the story concerns “creatures known as The Horde [that] hunt in the dark. Runaway Lucia (Fuhrman) must find her way to The Wall where safety awaits. An injured but determined Barry (Hardy) promises to get them there. But The Horde are not the only threat out there. The Clans–tribes of people whose survival and prosperity depends on selling and trading humans to gain strength in numbers–also stand in their way. In this propulsive thriller playing out over the course of one night, the only way to survive the to see a new day is to trust each other and stay in the light until they make it to The Wall.”
Werwulf
During a recent interview with Den of Geek, Nosferatu cinematographer Jarin Blaschke stated his visual idea for Robert Eggers’ Werwulf is “something that’s not been done before” and must be tested first.
Yeah, we’re doing it now. I can’t tell you a thing. But it’s something that’s not been done before that I’m aware of, or not done in this way. So [we’re] just going to test it and see if it works.
The Faculty
Variety confirms Miramax is officially moving forward with their remake of 1998’s star-studded alien invasion film, The Faculty, with original director Robert Rodriguez attached to produce. Companion‘s Drew Hancock is attached to write and direct.
Screamboat
On that note, Bloody-Disgusting also has a new image of Terrifier‘s David Howard Thornton as the killer mouse in Screamboat.
The Dark Tower
During a recent appearance on The Kingcast, Stephen King was full of praise for Mike Flanagan’s early scripts for the latest Dark Tower, calling him “the King Whisperer”:

Stranger Things
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ross Duffer stated the final season of Stranger Things will feel like “eight blockbuster movies.”
We spent a full year filming this season. By the end, we had captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It’s like eight blockbuster movies. It’s pretty, pretty insane.
Matt Duffer echoed his statements, adding:
Season 5 will be big and epic. There’s no time for a ramp-up. It’s going to be intense from beginning to end.
